Pillars of Action

How We Fight for Justice

Investigate. Educate. Advocate. Activate.

The Justice Activation Project operates on four pillars. Every wrongful conviction we expose starts with rigorous investigation and ends with real action.

πŸ”

Investigate

We dig into court records, transcripts, and evidence to uncover the truth behind wrongful convictions. Every case is selected for its potential to be brought back to court.

πŸ“š

Educate

We break down complex legal issues into actionable knowledge β€” through the podcast, blog, and social media β€” building awareness that drives change.

✊

Advocate

We stand with the wrongfully convicted and their families through ethical, trauma-informed advocacy, resource navigation, and strategic case support.

⚑

Activate

We mobilize communities to take measurable action β€” campaigns, letters, petitions, partnerships, and funding β€” turning awareness into impact.

The Engine Behind the Mission

The Wickedly Judged Podcast

New episodes every Thursday at 5 PM EST. Available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, iHeart, Pandora, Deezer, and more.

Case Investigations

We review court records, transcripts, and evidence to uncover the truth. Every case is selected for its potential to be brought back to court with new evidence or legal strategies.

Family Advocacy & Support

We stand with families through guidance, resource navigation, and direct support β€” reducing barriers to post-conviction relief and helping them fight for their loved ones.

About Wickedly Judged

Our Story

Born From a Personal Fight for Justice

The spark behind Wickedly Judged started when Rebecca's husband was wrongfully convicted and incarcerated for nearly 20 years. That personal fight for justice led to the creation of the Wickedly Judged podcast β€” a platform dedicated to exposing wrongful convictions through investigative journalism and grassroots advocacy.

But the advocacy organization itself was born from a conversation. Rebecca was talking with Sarah Dudzinski about a friend's case β€” discussing the possibility of interviewing her for the podcast. As they kept talking, the conversation grew bigger than one episode. They realized there was a need for something more β€” a structured, mission-driven organization that could investigate cases, support families, and push for real reform. From that conversation, the Wickedly Judged Justice Activation Project became a real thing.

What started as two people talking about one case turned into a nonprofit with state directors across the country, a growing network of volunteers, and a four-pillar framework β€” Investigate, Educate, Advocate, Activate β€” that drives everything we do.

Today, the podcast is the engine. The Justice Activation Project is the mission. And the merch funds the fight.
